I am a registered architect, located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I have a small practice, offering personalized services, with the goal of providing well-designed, well-built, sustainable and affordable houses and buildings.
I provide services including design and construction of new custom homes, additions and remodeling, and historic preservation; as well as light commercial projects such as retail stores and offices. Services are tailored to the needs of each client and project.
I have lived and practiced architecture in Santa Fe for over 30 years. My work draws from a wide range of influences, but is sensitive to the history, architecture and construction of New Mexico and the Southwest. I use simple forms and regional materials such as adobe, stone, plaster, tile, metal, and wood, to give my projects a warm, traditional feel. I have worked with alternative materials such as pumice-crete and straw bale, as well as prefabricated structures. I am experienced and comfortable working with regional architectural styles such as Pueblo, Territorial, and pitched roof Northern New Mexico styles, as well as modern interpretations, adapted to the needs of today's lifestyles and technology.
